This one in context of the nature felt like the morning after the rain had stopped and everything's fresh, the air is clear and it’s lush you feel defiant and energised. This one just came from this vision of me walking down my street in endz, just dapping all my bredrins from years of growing up there, the ones that have come and gone, and this bully van of police and Tory looking people pulls up and tries to grab and harass my people, and I just jump around the corner then jump back in true Anime style in a full purple, Samurai armour. I then proceed to charge the jakes and the bull van with my samurai sword and it switches into this anime of me taking them all out with my sword! I’ve always been obsessed with anime, Samurai films, Murakami, and japanese culture, so as the tune progressed it felt like I drifted into Tokyo at night. It’s hard to explain but as a Londoner, in deep tottenham dreaming about Japan, this was about defiance man, this is about telling the kids younger than me, F*ck the police and this system tryna snatch you, I was a kid once too, and I dreamed and I made my life with nothing but my mind, and took myself to places where I will actually get to go to far places like Japan, you can do it too. This really felt like in the hallucinogenic journey that is the album that I came out the other side and became like part of the universe or something, seeing the planet from below. I felt truly liberated on this one, liberated from my past music of being just a rapper, I felt like I really got to become and embrace me just being an artist, a full musician, on this one. It ends with the sound of Elks in the forest, over a misty lake that make me think of old Native American stories I got told by friends from nations there.
